Our People

Our dedicated team of professionally employed EMTs and Paramedics responds to over 1500 requests for service annually. When they aren’t on calls, they’re working to ensure that our organization remains response ready at all times, which can include tasks such as inventory + expiration checks, cleaning and disinfecting our equipment, or training to keep their knowledge and skills up to date. We staff one ambulance crew 24/7 as well as a Paramedic First Response SUV (Fly-Car) Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm. We take great pride in serving the Le Roy community, and are ready to respond at all times and in all weather conditions.

Our fleet

We maintain a fleet of two ambulances and one first response SUV (fly-car). As we only staff one ambulance at most times, we must maintain a second as a backup and for times when both are required. Each vehicle is stocked with a complete set of advanced life support equipment, including Stryker Power Stretchers, Lifepak 15 Cardiac Monitors, LUCAS automatic CPR devices, AirTraq video laryngoscopes, 30+ medications, and more. Everything is set up so that we can quickly and efficiently bring the capabilities of an emergency room directly to the scene of each emergency.

  • We primarily respond to incidents in the Town and Village of Le Roy, NY. The district borders Livingston County to the East, and the Towns of Pavillion, Bethany, Stafford, Byron, and Bergen within Genesee County. This 45 square mile area is home to over 7,000 residents, and includes multiple schools, assisted and senior living complexes, commercial and industrial properties, a skilled nursing facility, several rail lines, an airport, and multiple limited access divided highways.

  • We provide medical standby coverage at many local events each year, including the Oatka Festival, all home JV and Varsity high school football games, and major police and fire incidents. We are happy to provide medical standby coverage at any event, please visit our medical standby page for more information.

  • We maintain an extremely strong working relationship with the Le Roy Police and Fire Departments, and we frequently assist one another not only on emergency scenes, but also with administrative tasks, community events, training, and more. We also work directly with the Le Roy Central School District not only to ensure that we can respond to campus emergencies effectively, but also to train the faculty in life saving skills that they can utilize until we arrive.
